Cancellation and deposit policy
We are a small lodge at the top of a canyon. When you book, we hold that room or that machine for you and turn other people away. This policy exists so everyone knows where they stand, including us.
The short version
- Your lodging deposit is non-refundable, but it is not lost. It becomes a credit good for two years.
- A room needs more than 48 hours' notice. The whole lodge and Eagle's Roost need 30 days.
- UTV and snowmobile rentals are non-refundable unless you add Cancellation Protection when you book.
- To cancel, call (435) 946-3400. It cannot be done online.
Lodging
Your deposit
- A 50% deposit is charged when you book, and it is non-refundable.
- If you cancel, the deposit is not lost. It becomes a credit toward another reservation, good for two years from the day you paid it.
- The remaining balance is charged 30 days before you arrive. If you book inside 30 days, the full amount is due at booking.
If you cancel a single room
- Cancel more than 48 hours before check-in and you owe nothing beyond the deposit.
- Cancel inside 48 hours and the entire remaining balance is charged.
- No-shows and late arrivals are not eligible for a refund.
If you cancel the whole lodge or Eagle's Roost Cabin
- Cancel at least 30 days before check-in and you owe nothing beyond the deposit.
- Cancel inside 30 days and the full balance is charged.
- These are large bookings that take the whole building or the whole cabin off the calendar, which is why the window is longer.
UTV and snowmobile rentals
Rentals are non-refundable. If you cancel without Cancellation Protection, you are responsible for the full rental cost no matter how far ahead you cancel. The machine comes out of inventory the moment you book it.
Cancellation Protection
- Optional, and it must be added when you book. It cannot be added later.
- A one-time $50 fee per reservation. The $50 itself is non-refundable.
- With it, cancel with at least 24 hours' notice and everything except the $50 is refunded in full.
- Inside 24 hours, or a no-show, there is no refund even with Protection.
Packages
Packages that combine lodging with a UTV, snowmobile, or guided ride follow the lodging rules for the room and the 48-hour rule for the activity.
- The 50% deposit is non-refundable and becomes a two-year credit.
- Cancel more than 48 hours before your start date and the remaining balance is refundable.
- Cancel inside 48 hours and the full balance is charged.
Rescheduling
- We offer one courtesy reschedule per reservation, always based on availability.
- Ask at least 48 hours ahead for a room, a rental, or a package, or 30 days ahead for the whole lodge or Eagle's Roost.
- New lodging dates must fall within two years of your original payment. Rentals must be rebooked in the same season.
How to cancel or reschedule
Call us at (435) 946-3400 during business hours. Cancellations cannot be made online, and an email or voicemail is not confirmed until we reply to you. If you have not heard back from a real person, your reservation is still active.
Call (435) 946-3400Weather, road conditions, and trail closures do not by themselves qualify a reservation for a refund. Logan Canyon is a mountain environment and conditions change. If we cancel your reservation for any reason, you are refunded in full.
All reservations are subject to adjustment in the event of changes to applicable taxes or fees. Beaver Creek Lodge reserves the right to update guest invoices to reflect any such changes, as required by law.
