HORSEBACK RIDE DESCRIPTIONS

1-3 Hour Rides

The 1 hour, 1 1/2, and 3 hour rides feature a wide range of areas, including rolling hills covered with aspens, pine trees, wild flowers, creeks, and grasses. The hour and a half and three hour rides are especially popular for spectacular mountain views.

Each of these rides is suitable to riders of all experience levels.

Specialty Rides

For those who would like a little more adventure off the beaten path, we offer specialty rides ranging from two and a half to six hours in length. Breathe in the crisp mountain air from atop your horse through meadows full of wildflowers and divine mountain peaks.  You'll find creeks and streams along your way, the perfect treat for your horse.  Deer, elk, or the occasional moose may even be spied as you travel through the pure tranquility of aspens and pines.

Specialty rides are available to groups of four or larger and include lunch on the trail.

Some of our favorite specialty rides include White Pine Canyon, Bunch Grass, Horse Lake, the Great Western Trail, Bear Lake Overlook, and Steam Mill Canyon, where gold from a late 1800s robbery still remains buried somewhere in the hills. Specialty rides must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
